Privacy Policy

What we collect, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect only what we need to plan and deliver your event, we never sell it, and the photos you use in Design Your Space never leave your device.

01Who we are

Events with Ellee (“we,” “us,” “our”) is an event decorating, rental and invitation business based in Santaquin, Utah. This policy covers elleeevents.com and the information you give us when you contact us, reserve rentals, or book services.

02What we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details — your name, email address and phone number.
  • Event details — event type, date, venue, address, city, guest count, colors and any notes you choose to share.
  • Booking details — the items and services you reserve, delivery choices and dates.
  • Invitation content — names, wording, photos and guest lists you send us for invitations and addressing.
  • Payment information — payments are handled by our payment processor through a secure link. We do not see or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically

  • Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically receives standard technical information when you visit — such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested and the time of the request — in order to deliver and protect the site.
  • We do not currently use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy first.

03Photos in Design Your Space

Photos you use in Design Your Space stay on your device. The tool opens your photo directly in your browser. It is not uploaded to our website, our servers or anyone else. When you close the page, it is gone. If you choose to save your design, the image is saved to your own device, and it only reaches us if you choose to email it to us.

04How we use your information

  • To respond to your questions and prepare quotes.
  • To confirm availability, process reservations and payments, and send confirmations and invoices.
  • To deliver, set up, collect and track rental items, and to contact you on the day of your event.
  • To design, print and mail invitations and other custom work you order.
  • To process security deposit releases, deductions and any amounts owed under our Terms.
  • To keep business, tax and legal records, and to enforce our Terms.
  • To keep the website secure and working properly.

We will only send you marketing emails if you ask to receive them, and every such email will let you unsubscribe.

05Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only as needed to run your booking:

  • Service providers who work on our behalf — such as our website host, email provider, payment processor, printer and postal or delivery services — only for the purpose of providing their service to us.
  • Your venue or vendors, when you ask us to coordinate with them.
  • Legal and safety reasons — when required by law, to respond to legal process, to enforce our Terms, to recover unpaid amounts or unreturned items, or to protect the rights, property or safety of anyone.
  • Business transfer — if the business is sold or reorganized, customer records may transfer to the new owner, who must honor this policy.

06Cookies & browser storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The website stores a small amount of information in your own browser only to make it work:

  • Your cart is saved in your browser’s local storage so it survives a page refresh. It stays on your device and is not sent to us until you submit a reservation.
  • A loading-screen flag in session storage, so the opening animation only plays once per visit.

You can clear these at any time through your browser settings.

07Third-party services

Some parts of the website load resources from other providers, which receive your IP address and basic browser information when they do:

  • Cloudflare hosts and protects the website.
  • Google Fonts supplies the typefaces used on the site.
  • jsDelivr supplies the 3D graphics library used by the homepage and Design Your Space.
  • Links to Instagram and Facebook take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.

Each of these providers handles data under its own privacy policy.

When you use our contact or reservation forms, the website opens your own email program with your message filled in, and your message is delivered by your email provider.

08How long we keep it

We keep booking, invoice and payment records for as long as required for tax, accounting and legal purposes — generally up to seven (7) years. We keep enquiries that did not become bookings for up to two (2) years. Guest lists supplied for invitation addressing are deleted within ninety (90) days after the order is complete, unless you ask us to keep them for a future order.

09Security

The website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect the information you give us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send card numbers or other sensitive financial details by email.

10Your choices & rights

You may ask us at any time to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
  • correct information that is inaccurate;
  • delete your information, except where we must keep it for legal, tax or contract reasons; and
  • stop sending you marketing messages.

Email hello@elleeevents.com and we will respond within thirty (30) days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will not treat you differently for making one.

11Children

Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Names or photos of children included in invitation orders are provided by, and used only at the direction of, the child’s parent or guardian. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

12Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will provide a more prominent notice.
